  Karl Church
Site Supervisor
(585) 500-5184

kchurch@rochesterhabitat.org

Karl's a 30 year construction veteran, who's worked for us in the past, and whose specialty is teaching others how to build. In his most recent past, he was the Carpentry teacher at Monroe 2 BOCES and he wields his MSED from Oswego. In fact, Karl's favorite part of working for Habitat is that he gets to marry his passions for construction, teaching, and helping his community every day. But when he's not out on site showing our volunteers and homebuyers the right way to drive a nail you'll find him on the water sailing; he and his wife are members of the Pultneyville Mariners.

rfolger@rochesterhabitat.org

Rick's unwavering passion for Habitat for Humanity lead him from his volunteer roles as hammer swinger and board member at Genesee Habitat for Humanity to a full-time role with as Program Director. When we can't find Rick in the office it's because he's out in our neighborhood or meeting with community partners - although we also hear he's been known to sneak down to Cooperstown for a yearly baseball reunion game.

 Kayla Himelein

Kayla Himelein
Volunteer Coordinator & Development Associate
(585) 546-1470 x315
khimelein@rochesterhabitat.org

Kayla's the double-whammy of the sweet, patient voice you'll hear when you call to volunteer with us AND a database powerhouse with an education from RIT. A girl who get's just as excited about statistics, measurement, and demographics as she does when you put a good slice of WARM apple pie in front of her there isn't a day that goes by where we're not thankful that between checking off the items on her daily to-do list she's scrubbing our database. A snowbunny with killer photography skills don't be surprised if her weekend tales sound more like a 2 week vacation; we're pretty sure she'd trades sleep for fun nearly 94.3% of the time.

  Sue Feuerherm

admin@rochesterhabitat.org

Sue is a bookkeeper by trade, a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College, and a musician by passion. She shares her talents with Ogden Baptist and Adam Basin United Methodist close to Brockport where she lives with her husband and daughter. What you'll notice most about Sue is how incredibly friendly she is; which makes it no surprise that she is a fantastic hostess, baker, and cook. We're happy to have her, and if you're here on a day she makes cookies you will be happy too.
