We only have items to sell if you donate!
About Donating to Habitat ReStore
Located at 755 Culver Rd., the Habitat ReStore is a retail home improvement outlet accepting donations of good-condition building, remodeling and related materials, supplies and tools. We sell/ recycle these items through resale to the public, at a discount, and then use the proceeds for Flower City Habitat for Humanity building efforts.
What will Habitat ReStore accept (and what will you not accept)
We accept donations (from businesses and individuals) of items like cabinetry, plumbing and electrical fixtures, replacement doors and windows, "like new" water heaters, sinks, tools, flooring, paint, appliances and furniture. Be sure to check out Accepted Items and Non-accepted Items before you bring or call us with a donation because we don't take everything.
How do I donate
You can donate to Habitat ReStore in two ways:
Drop-Off: Bring your donations directly to us Monday - Friday 10AM to 6PM or Saturday 9AM to 5PM. We'll take a look and make sure they meet our acceptance guidelines and give you a donation receipt on the spot. This is the best way to make a donation to Habitat ReStore
Pick-Up: We'll come and get your donated items. Just give us a call at 697-2012 and the next time we're in your area we'll stop by and pick up your donations. Make sure that your donation meets our list of accepted items and that it's easily accessible for our drivers. If you'd like to make your donation go further, let your neighbors know you've scheduled a Habitat ReStore pick-up and we'll stop at you neighbors houses when we're out as well. Make sure you check out our Donation Pick-Up Guidelines before we arrive!
What happens to your donation after it's donated
Our Habitat ReStore staff and volunteers take your donations, clean them (and make minor repairs if nessesary), and then price them according to our pricing system. Then your donation will go out in our store and is sold to the public in our retail store at 755 Culver Road. Once your donation is sold, the proceeds from it go to Flower City Habitat for Humanity who uses the proceeds in thier Rochester building projects.
If you have additional questions about donations or would like to set-up a large, corporate, or continuous donation
Give us a call Monday - Friday 10AM to 7PM or Saturday 9AM to 5PM and we'll answer any questions you have!
