Why donate to ReStore?
By shopping, donating, or volunteering at Habitat ReStores, you help keep usable construction and home improvement items out of local landfills and help us build homeownership, communities, and hope in Rochester!
What can I donate?
We accept donations (from businesses and individuals) of: appliances, cabinets, doors, flooring, furniture, hardware, lighting and fans, lumber, paint, plumbing, roofing and gutters, wall coverings, windows and screens. Please check our full list of accepted items and non-accepted items before donating because we don't take everything!
How do I donate?
- Drop-Off at Rochester ReStore (755 Culver Road): Donations are accepted Monday - Friday 10AM to 4:30PM or Saturday 9AM to 3:30PM. We'll make sure your donations meet our acceptance guidelines and give you a donation receipt on the spot.
- Drop-Off at Henrietta ReStore (2199 East Henrietta Road): Donations are accepted Tuesday - Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. We'll make sure your donations meet our acceptance guidelines and give you a donation receipt on the spot.
- Pick-Up: We'll come and get your donated items. Just give us a call at 697-2012 and the next time we're in your area we'll stop by and pick up your donations. We currently pick up in Monroe County only. Make sure that your donation meets our list of accepted items and that it's easily accessible for our drivers. If you'd like to make your donation go further, let your neighbors know you've scheduled a Habitat ReStore pick-up and we'll stop at you neighbors houses when we're out as well. Make sure you check out our Donation Pick-Up Guidelines before we arrive!
