Office Volunteers

You don't need a hammer and construction boots to build homes with Flower City Habitat for Humanity! Lend a hand in Habitat’s front office; our hub for homebuilding.

Our office volunteers really are the life-blood of our Habitat volunteers. They keep the ship sailing smoothly behind the scenes, helping us look, sound, and be our best. Most of our office volunteer spots are a Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm type of position.

At Flower City Habitat, our volunteers make it happen. Each volunteer’s efforts play a role in raising the roof of Habitat homes. Right now, we're looking for regular volunteers to provide support and leadership in the area of office administration. Volunteers can count on shadowing and asking questions until they are comfortable working on their own.

Summer or Fall College Volunteers

Summary

Our college volunteers help to maximize our staff efforts while allowing students to gain real-world experience under the umbrella of a well known non-profit brand. Our goal is to help our college volunteers learn more about their chosen profession and give them guided opportunities to try their hand at actual tasks that they can use in their portfolios. Though we can't say there won't be an envelope-stuffing extravaganza every once in a while (we do that too) we can say that our college volunteers leave with tools that can help them get ahead in the job market and a brand on their resume that's highly equitable.
