Maria Street

This short, two-block street, adjacent to Cuba Place, has abandoned properties, vacant lots and illegal activity that the city, police and neighborhood groups want to clean up. Through Habitat, new homes were built in Fall 2000 through Spring 2001. Through a grant to Group 14621, existing homes are receiving repairs. Concerned groups include the local Neighborhood Empowerment Team office, Group 14621 and CONEA.
