Second floor joists have been installed at 383 Jay Street and a special "Happy Birthday!!" to Flo, one of our weekly Hammer & Saw volunteers on the Wednesday crew!

Vaccination: While highly encouraged, we currently have no vaccination requirements.
Masking & COVID-19 Community Level: Based on CDC guidance, Flower City Habitat for Humanity strongly recommends indoor masking when the COVID-19 Community Level for Monroe County is "high" (details and link to CDC Community Levels below).
Additional information on mask types, use, care of masks, and free N95 respirators can be found here.
Health Screening: We no longer require a daily health screening questionnaire, but we continue to ask all staff, volunteers, and visitors to stay home if they are not feeling well. Even if you have tested negative for COVID-19, we don't want to spread other illnesses either.
COVID positive tests, exposures, and illness (among volunteers): Please click here for guidance.
We continue to monitor CDC, NYS, & Monroe County guidance, but please note that these protocols will remain our affiliate policy until updated by FCHH (last updated on 05/18/2022).
Thank you to Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Rochester Mayor Malik Evans, NYS Assemblymember Demond Meeks, and all the other volunteers and supporters who joined us in-person and online to celebrate the completion of our 250th house!
This milestone build, located on Campbell Street, was made possible through a longstanding partnership with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and their dedication to investing in housing and building a stronger, healthier community.
Congratulations to the Homebuyer for all the work put in to get to this point and thank you for partnering with us to achieve your goal of homeownership!

JOSANA Neighborhood: Spectrum News journalist Andrew Freeman recently spoke with several residents in JOSANA to hear how homeownership has improved their neighborhood.
The interview includes kids who have grown up in the neighborhood, the Director of the Tyshaun Cauldwell R-Center for Hope, and Natasha, the new owner of the 100th Habitat home in the area!
Emma & Beechwood Neighborhoods: If you aren't familiar with Connected Communities, they are "Dedicated to building up EMMA and Beechwood neighborhoods from within by engaging residents, service providers, and community partners in our holistic approach."
