Leader Build Annual Luncheon
Each year we follow our summertime Leaders Build corporate building event with a luncheon that both celebrates business participation in Habitat and serves to engage local businesses in our mission to foster economic and community development by building decent, affordable homes. Attendeess include company presidents, CEOs and managers, past participants of Leaders Build, media friends, Habitat homeowners and others who take an interest in our work to eliminate poverty and substandard housing in Rochester.

Mayor Robert Duffy was our keynote speaker at the 2009 Leaders Build Luncheon.

We also use the occasion to present awards to businesses and business leaders who have lent outstanding support to Habitat's home-building efforts. Our 2009 Golden Hammer Award was presented to real estate developer John Billone Jr., President of Flower City Management.
Habitat neither solicits nor accepts government funding, so the support of the business community is critical to our ability to build homes. If you are interested in attending the Leaders Build Luncheon, please contact our Development Manager Teresa Bianchi at tbianchi@rochesterhabitat.org or 546-1470, x305.
