Leaders Build

For two weeks each summer, corporate executives converge on our construction sites to get a taste of what Habitat is all about.

In July of 2007, one of our Leaders Build groups raised the first wall at 732 Bay St.

There's building, of course -- and more than a little sweating on a hot summer day -- but much is learned when these bosses become builders. Each year, over 75 business leaders have traded a half-day of their busy work lives for a chance to experience the joy of helping to build a decent new home in partnership with a deserving low-income family.
