Introduction

Flower City Habitat for Humanity's success over the years is based on the organization's ability to create partnerships with homeowners, volunteers, donors and house sponsors. Our 150+ homes, built since 1984, are inhabited by families who would never otherwise have been able to own a home. Thank you for joining us in our mission of building homes and rebuilding neighborhoods and community.

If you have have ever volunteered to help Habitat build, you know the effect our work has. Future homeowners are empowered and transformed. A new community is born. But volunteers are also transformed as they put faith into action. Volunteers donate time and resources andreceive, in turn, manifold gifts.

FCHH Staff is available to assist you, provide guidance and offer encouragement and support every step of the way. This Project Guide provides numerous suggestions and ideas that build on the successful work of other sponsors.

No two sponsors will proceed the same way, and there are numerous opportunities for creativity and innovation. This is your own project -- put your stamp on it and make it special and unique!
