YouthBuild at 226 Saxton Street

Over the last few days, the YouthBuild program from Catholic Charities Family and Community Services installed the sill plate and rim joist at 226 Saxton Street!

Finishing up siding on the outside and drywall finishing on the inside, construction is marching along at 375 Campbell Street!

Progress on 871 Smith Street

In these photos, regular volunteers Jim and Tim were installing handrails in the stairwell, and you can see that kitchen cabinets are going in and closet doors are ready to be installed. It's moving along!

This home was made possible by Perinton Congregations for Flower City Habitat for Humanity and the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation.

757 Jay Street Nearing Completion

This home, which is the 100th Habitat home within a half mile of School 17, has been made possible by Thrivent and the FCHH Harvest Home Coalition.

Excellus BCBS Employees Raise Second Floor Walls at 375 Campbell Street

Employees from Excellus BCBS joined us again today to build and raise second floor walls at 375 Campbell Street. The day started with great team work to lift walls, OSB boards, and exterior insulation up to the second floor and continued with lots of hammering, cutting, and lifting walls into place!

375 Campbell Street is the 250th Habitat home in Monroe County and is sponsored by Excellus BCBS, who is providing financial and volunteer support to make this home possible.

Over the past several weeks, CoreLogic employees joined us for four sponsored team building days, helping install foundation footers, subflooring, and first floor walls at 375 Campbell Street.

After the fourth build day, Christine M. Cruso, Leader, Operations for CoreLogic shared, "We enjoyed the opportunity to partner with your colleagues while impacting the lives of others in our community. Habitat for Humanity efforts will help change the life of many families by ensuring they can continue their journey toward financial independence and home ownership and truly living out the rallying call CoreLogic has by helping people Find, Acquire and Protect their homes. We look forward to next year, and continued success for you throughout the year!"

Through their financial support and volunteer efforts, CoreLogic is helping us continue to build homeownership, communities, and hope in Rochester. Thank you CoreLogic!
