Affordable Rentals
The Housing Council at PathStone Housing counseling and intervention services for tenants, homeowners, and the homeless, plus comprehensive assistance and direct training to landlords. The agency also maintains a Housing Hotline, promotes fair housing awareness, publishes a rental registry, and provides inspection services for rental programs. Catholic Charities Offers comprehensive services to deal with the individual or family's immediate crisis and offer housing and supportive resources to help them achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. |
Home Related Services
Healthy Neighborhood Program Residents may receive free smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms, batteries, fire extinguishers, cleaning supplies, Healthy Home DVD and literature. A brief survey will be completed during the home or apartment visit. Eligible Areas: 14605, 14608, 14609, 14611, and 14621. Hope Initiatives CDC A local non-profit that offers a variety of home services including storage space, moving services, emergency furniture kits, custom furniture manufacturing and general handyperson services. |
Financial & Legal Services
Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Rochester Offers financial counseling that can be very helpful in determining potential eligibility for our programs. They can update and explain your financial situation, what you will need for an application, and what you can work on to increase your chances to be accepted into our program. They offer free first-time evaluations. JustCause Provides low-income residents of Monroe County skilled volunteer attorneys to resolve serious legal problems. |
