Women Build
Since 1991, Women Build volunteers from all walks of life have come together to build stronger, safer communities with Habitat affiliates around the world. Each year in Rochester, teams of women (and a handful of men) combine their fundraising efforts and volunteer build days to make another Habitat home possible.
Any woman who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us — no experience is necessary. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners. Whether you are learning new skills or simply adding a few to your tool belt, Women Build is a rewarding experience for all involved, and improves the community that we share.

TEAMS: Find your team or start a new team in our ongoing campaigns below. Teams are typically co-workers, friends, family, neighbors, or members of the same congregation or interest group. Everyone sets their best fundraising and volunteering goals, and together we build a house!
INDIVIDUALS: Want to try it out? Any individual can sign-up for volunteer shifts that say "All Women Welcome". If you like it, you can then join a team (SAWS2 and All The Single Ladies are both accepting new members), or start your own team!
UPDATES: Follow the progress on our Women Build News page and sign-up for email updates here.
